Re: UK Suppliers
Just a note, Im a newbie here, but have been in the business a few years.
The last 3 orders from HometoGifts, have been screwed up and late.
The first one was in internet order, which they 'missed' I waited a week, then called to find out where it was ( by the way payment was taken on the website) they said they missed the order, and it would ship that day. Took a week to get the order.
Second order - got lost with the courier ( oh that old tale !!!!) and they had to resend it- half was missing and i got charged to two lots of postage.
Third order - courier again - apparently damaged the box and the address was destroyed, and they received it back but forgot to inform us, but if we paid for a special delivery we could have it sent AGAIN on saturday.
cant say im going to spend much with them again!!!
just my two penneth

Re: UK Suppliers
Heard a few bad things about HTG lately as well and they cocked up an order of mine to boot. Don't know if they are in trouble but they rarely answer phones as well.

Re: UK Suppliers
maybe a list paul but i think its not too bad an idea if people post their bad or good experiances with the suppliers they find on here. After all its a democratic site the past couple of posts have already confirmed to me that htg arnt what they should be . I had an interesting call with them when trying to source some cushions i was promised all sorts the cushions are advertised as 16x 16 inches they turned up 14x17 no bloody good to me .

Re: UK Suppliers
As long as it is not a witch hunt feedback is essential. If it needs to be on a different thread then feel free to move my coments.
You might want to move this as well......... DomGlobal supply awful stuff, Novachrome have little interest in retaining customers although have decent product, Xpres I always find good throughout and our resident Supplier on these boards (Martin/BMS)I can't fault and is the most helpful out there. Transfer Press I also have found good.

Re: UK Suppliers
Yes, I agree that it's very useful to give this feedback. It's also important to give good feedback as well, something that's often neglected. Comments so far pretty much echo my experience over the years with certain companies.
I wonder if a 'customer satisfaction' section/survey may be useful in some way? Quick feedback on your experiances

Just tried to get onto the Subli Supplies site from a google search and it says it cannot open the site - is this happening to anyone else.
