Hey everyone,
It's been a long time since my last visit here. I hope you're all doing great. I sold my printing equipment and websites last year but just had my local school ask if I could make...
Hey all,
Just clearing out the office and found the sublimation film I bought when first starting out.
It's Polijet gold Plus 180 microns.
I have around 200 x A4 and around 800 sheets A5.

Do you turn on both ovens or just the top one? - Just the top one.
And when you say "Preheat" I presume you mean heating up the oven or do you mean physically putting the slate in the oven for 12...
Thanks buddy - And no problem...
I use the slates from dyesublimationsupplies. I don't think they're any different to other suppliers but they come in plain brown boxes which are easy to brand.

Hi All - Sale has now been agreed and deposit secured.
Thanks very much. That's really kind of you to say.
I'm so sorry to hear about your wife. It's truly awful. I lost my '2nd' mum to it a few weeks also.
I wish I knew what to say other than my...
- Received and replied :)
Hi Kevin - No messages received I'm afraid.
Aw thanks very much! I'm on the mend now but just don't have it in me to build the business back up. Thanks again. Really appreciate it!
Apologies for photo's being wrong way around. They were O.K until upload :)
NOTE: One thing I didn't think of is that the company Ucase Ltd has over £25k owing to the director (me) so there may be...
Hi all,
It's been a while since I last posted here and this isn't a particularly enjoyable one to write.
After a long year of health issues (chemo' and operations) I'm really struggling to get...
Just to chip in here to help confirm.
I have the same setup and get over 500 slates to a set of Sublijet inks (15x20cm).
My first set did get much less for the reasons mentioned already.

Hey All - Thanks for your input. Yes it looks like this is getcanvassupples/getsublimationsupplies. Had an awful experience with them and won't be buying again.
@Woolers1 - A while ago I purchased...
Hmmm,
Thanks webtrekker. Doesn't sound like a recipe for success does it.
I keep finding items I'd love to try but with no reputable UK supplier, sourcing them outside the UK just isn't cost...
Hey folks,
Have you heard of buyprintsupplies.co.uk?
They have some items I'd like but I can't see a phone number and with previous experiences, that makes me weary.
Would appreciate any...

Awesome! My thought's exactly :)
If you're getting any items made that could be classed as good "gift" items as oppose to "promotional" - Things that individually sell for £10 and over I'd certainly be interested to see what you...
- Hi Malkram, it's the ST3042
I started off with film. It's very expensive but no need to wrap. It also moulds to the shape of your substrate. So it is much quicker.
It is supposed to give a better finish too.
BUT My 3D...
I haven't but... It sounds like either you have a leak in one of the hoses, a leak in the top/bottom seal, Failing vacuum pump, or maybe the water-trap needs emptying.
The Longforte slates (like most now) come in the light grey boxes that just say "Photo Slate". Like your picture on the right.
I don't think many suppliers use the black "Rock Photo" packaging...
I love what what I do. Yes there are times when I feel like pulling my hair out but all I have to do is look back to how I felt in my "JOB" compared to working for myself.
Makes me smile every time...
I know that Longforte, Dyesublimationsupplies and MerlinTransfers all use the same supplier for slates. Not sure about any of the others.
Sorry for the delay. Here's a pic' (I've cropped around part of it as my designs have a habit of being copied - I'm sure nobody here would do that but this is a public forum).
I spoke to Longforte...
