Sounds sensible to me. :-)
I think the Graphtec would be ok for you, it will work on your mac via usb, The supplied software is more than adequate. I think it is overpriced at £350 though, The new model 6000-40 is about £670....
Ok, it sounds like the roland is an older model, though still a good machine it wont have usb which causes problems with newer computers not having serial or parallel ports, also newer operating...
With you being new to this I would recommend seeing it working, The 5000-40 is a great machine, I have both that and a roland cx-24.
Is there a model number on the Camm 1? If it's a cm-24 or a...
£400 seems a bit steep to me. I'd sell mine for £300. I still have original box and disks. Where are you located?
The Graphtec from greenstick is a bargain @ £674, If all your thinking of doing is t shirts it's a brilliant machine. I have the previous model (5000-40) and apart from the cutting width as mentioned...
Iv'e got one. great machine. servo motors, just the same as the 5000-60, The only limitation is the cutting width @ 15" but for t shirt vinyl I doubt you would get a better cutter. It does depend on...
Hi Paul, Do you still have your old heat press (flat bed) I have an attachment that fits on mine, like the one on left hand side in pic. Would that be any good for you....
I hope your wife doesn't read your post Paul, You may need to print your dinner !!
These are supposed to fit the cameo,
...
You should be able to contour cut with Vinylmaster, You would need LTR version minimum, I paid about £55 for mine. Regarding using Photoshop for printing would it be possible to print one copy via...
Many thanks Justin. Enjoy your press.
Hi Sarah, Thank you for prompt reply. The van is white so should be ok. Is there a minimum order on this, i'm looking for a couple of metres.
How much would that be with p&p please.
Thanks
Mal
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone had used this stuff
http://www.isub-supplies.co.uk/gold-satin-polyester-coated-aluminium.html?hc_location=ufi
and if so is it any good? I believe you sublimate...
Just answered Justin :-)
kendog, I would do a nozzle check (in printer maintenance) if one or more colours is not printing the full pattern then as recommended prime the cartridges. The easiest way of doing this iv'e found...
kendog, have you tried aligning the printheads in the printer maintenance program, easy to do and usually the cause of banding.
did your sc631 come with a plug in for illustrator. there should be something in settings for number of reg marks, failing that can't you just right click on the marks you don't want and delete them.
Hi Justin, My turn to be sorry for late reply we are in Skegness having a few days in the caravan and the mobile signal is awfull, anyway as I'm not at home I can't send a pic of the press but it is...
Hi Justin, Could you pm me your postcode, i'll see if it's practical for me to come and collect. I have a daughter in Weston super mare so could visit her at the same time, It would have to be next...
Hi Justin, i'd love that, I do have a mug press spare but it's not worth as much as your cutter, would you accept it plus a bit of cash, I can sort a pic out if needed. Thanks Mal
Cameos are ok but a bit limited, the chinese ones work albeit a bit noisy. If A3 is enough I would look out for a used Graphtes 3000-40 or 5000-40. they cut up to 40cm wide, the 5000-40 has optical...
I only use light pressure but I do cover with a piece of silicone baking paper and as mentioned above a mousepad or similar placed under where your pressing to avoid buttons.
I use a basic HP printer with refillable carts (from ebay) and asda ink and t shirt transfer paper and the results are very vivid, I'm not at home at the mo to post a pic. They do have quite an heavy...
Did you manage to get your Rowland working ok?
