We went yesterday (Sunday), arrived at the stand during our travels at about 3pm. We were talking to one of their guys about the mugs that they had on display, when he launched into the "our coating...
Another upvote for the SG system.
As I've noted previously, we bought an SG800 with Sublijet HD ink about twelve months ago, and are into our second set of inks with it. It's not missed a beat,...
I'm guessing that you'll know a certain Mr. Ashall then - I know him well - I bought one of their vans some years ago.
Small world indeed!
Hi Dave,
Welcome to the Sub Dye forum!
Something is stirring in my memory about Hartlepool - wasn't that the place where they hung a monkey in the Napoleanic war as they thought it was a French...
Not tried calling them, but the website works for me...
(I should add - I didn't try to contact them via the website either).
I looked at Edu Bovoline's facebook page after Paul had made the initial post, the fact that he (Edu) had not responded to a query on his page regarding rights for him to use trademarked material was...
CottonRidge?

Never heard of them before, will have a look :-)
We buy Yolo vinyl on 25 metre rolls, one issue that we have found of late is that is comes with an excessive amount of chalk or whatever powder they put on it, which very quickly kills the adhesive...
I'd wondered that maybe the paper isn't completely flat, and the print head is touching the raised parts as it passes - it certainly looks like the marks we sometimes get from our wide format printer...
Unfortunately readers will need to take a deep breath before starting to read the next sentance, as it goes on a bit...
I'm more than a little disappointed that the "impartial" supertester on the...
Hi, as someone else pointed out further up the thread, you have two websites active:-
www.readingprint.co.uk
AND
www.readingprint.uk
The latter opens a clean install of opencart, which is...
The first one doesn't quite look realistic (maybe because the text is relatively thin?), but the other two are very impressive...
So, as long as you're making plenty of money, it's fine for other people to use your ip?
You won't have to look too far back on the forum to find out that for many members that's not the case.

Which inks did you get with the printer?
I'd guess not Sawgrass, as the instructions would explain everything.
Have you bought sublimation inks? I don't know what other sublimation packages...
We've always used BMS for mugs, and been very happy with them, but decided to try the Duraglaze to see what they were like, and if we were happy with them the small price saving would be a bonus.

Although we haven't done this as yet, when we bought our Versacamm second hand some years ago I did a test print of a duckling on a lake, the photo showing both above and below the waterline.
I...
I thought peach skin was a reference to its colour, until I looked it up!
Obviously not my forte :-).
We have printed leaver's hoodies and t shirts for a few years now, originally using cut vinyl for the rather large and intricate motif containing the leavers' names, which was a bit of a bore, but...
The downfall of the laser papers is the longevity, unless they've improved any?
30 to 40 washes in my book is not long enough for a premium garment print to last...
I can see customers...
Is that 25p per metre likely to drop when you purchase supplies in bulk, or locate a cheaper source?
Compared to online prices for bespoke printed tape it looks a little scary, though obviously...
Wasn't trying to score points - we have a 30" versacamm so I'd already researched the availability of them.
We've never printed one, but if someone really wanted one we would :-).
There are now some pop-up banners available that can be printed on a 30" printer - I have no connection with the company linked to; they were the first that popped up(!) on my search, am sure there...
Having looked online it's not quite what I was expecting so I deleted my previous post, as it wasn't very relevant!
It's certainly fast in operation, though as Justin said it's not cheap...
The green one looks very good - the detailing on the cap sits really well with the logo.
I think incompetence is a little strong, it seems that most aspects of the industry - at our end of it anyway - have quirks that need to be understood to produce a quality item every time, and that...
