Yup, if you plan to use it just now and then or just for one specific purpose, then screw the storage life. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend better quality.

I would also highly advise not to use any solvent inks in a printer. I am pretty sure it will cause irreparable damage due to parts melting. This can happen very quickly and is definitely not worth...
