I've know Ken at inkforinkjet so asked him why he alters the ink, for you. Aparrently it's to make the viscosity more suitable for desktop printers, reduce blockages etc.
He does know the industry...
We use two Sc-t3200's for subbing. They're absolutely brilliant and with just 4 colours very economical to run too. We use Sublinova smart inks that we get from from Inkforinkjet in refillable carts...
Make sure you have the right colour profile installed for your printer/paper/ink combo. Your ink supplier should supply you with this.
Thank you, I wasn't expecting a reply, but that's great to know there are bits available for it, even if I had to wait for them, that makes a world of difference. I may get around to dismantling it...
Must be the time of year, Just replaced the switch, rubber mat and spring on our Maxi A2. Now keeping switch, springs and fuses in stock so it will inevitably be something else that goes wrong next...
Update on this.
After two years exactly it's now been replaced by an Adkins. To be fair it has had a tough last six months and has paid for itself over and over, but it's pretty much ready for...
Get all our inks here now. They're local to us but the prices are the best I've seen. Same stuff, 100ml - 1ltr sizes.
We pay £50 plus Vat per litre with free custom profiles (the best we've ever...
I absolutely agree with Ray and MM. Ken's an Epson engineer and an ink chemist of many years so he knows his stuff inside out. He'll also dial into your system and install his custom profile if...
I think I've whined about ours in the past. We stopped using it once we got the Adkins A2 but have started using it again alongside the Adkins and to be fair it's doing a very good job. My main...
Go for it, you should see a significant difference. Xpress will send you a sample if you ask them.
Another vote for the xpress 5013's, second place are the listawood AAA's.
Ordered a box of Signzworld mugs once to check them out ...... Returned them immediately yet I still feel violated.
We run a couple of epsom sc-t 3200's, both use 24" Texprint XPhr rolls, 99% printing fabrics so we didn't want to swap about as it's ideal for that, but with a first class custom profile from our ink...
Saw Overclockers mentioned. We've been building our own pc's now for about 15 years and have found Aria to be better priced than Overclockers. They often have some very sweet specials too that change...
An 18" Rexel CL120 guillotine (with the guard removed)..... superfast trimming, at least until I cut my fingers off.
I'll second that.
We now use an Epson SC-T3200 for sub. The SC-T's are definately worth a looksie if you haven't already.
That would be great thank you.
Do the black reinforcers on the bottom corners press ok?
We're looking for a replacement supply to the Xpress bags too.

No, it's not a "wild assumption".
Asking for permission is just an email, no great hardship, contact the companies yourself before using their property, that's what I have done in the past to find...
He's also a pirate.
It's illegal to reproduce any item featuring company merchandising/logo's without the express permission of said company.
Not seen it mentioned already, but worth considering, as soon as you put SS inks in your machine, your warranty is blown isn't it? If so, is it worth it for a 15% saving?
We don't use a Vacuum press but it looks like a low pressure or temperature problem to me.
Best to check everything though, what paper/inks/mugs are you using?
Also maybe check your temp is...
Sorry Andy, I have no idea at all as I only just found them myself. Very interested to know too though.
