Yeah, we use the GemTec stencil film.

    Re: Rhinestones, again

    Thanks John :)

I've not got any software for converting the images, so it's taking me a while to get some designs sorted :(

Have tried cutting all sorts of different things to make the stencils, but it looks like I'll need to bite the bullet and get the gem tec film

    Re: Rhinestones, again

The GemTec stencil stuff is excellent for the job. It's also known as Sandblast vinyl available from most vinyl suppliers. I have found Xpres to be reasonable on price though.

The R-Wear software is hideously expensive in my opinion.

Unfortunately, Gemtec stencil film is no longer produced by Xpres. What film do you use nowadays, John?

@Kaz, ive started to experiment with rhinestones a little using a cameo and silhouette software.

Paul did a video on here about making your own sticky flock, ive tried that and it does work well. (thanx Paul)..

I managed to get some mylar film for picking up the stones from the template, and for brushing in, i found the best tool was a cheap micro fibre type paint pad from a diy store.

still very much a learning curve tho
