    Hi Vis workwear

    Hi everyone,
Can anyone recommend a supplier of Hi Vis t-shirts and sweat shirts. Have got the chance to do an order but. Have not found a supplier that will let me compete with their previous supplied prices.

    Cheers

    Kath

I purchase from RODO, good quality kit and decent enough prices.

Am purchasing about 2000+ vests a month so I might be able to get a decent deal for you, if you want, message me with your requirements and I will get a price for you.

A national builders merchants (and their associated companies), it actually saves them money...

Their Hi Vis is all personalised with the employee name, what they found is that the member of staff looks after the garment more and also the branch managers know exactly who is not looking after their uniform. It cut the hi vis garment spend by 30-35%

Bearing in mind that some of the jackets can cost £20-30 a pop and they employ over 30,000 people, that is a lot of money that can be saved.

Its also company policy that every member of staff must have a hi vis vest.... who am I to complain ;-)

Neat idea then. Your sublimating these or printing or vinyl? Personalisation must take a bit of time so I'd imagine you've come up with an efficient solution to that. Great to see how such numbers can be achieved, always interested to know hints and tips to make things easier or quicker and learn of new good supplies, no pricing on their website but what's a vest from them cost box qty?

Sublimating - The print is black

I chuck the cheapest I can find (I even mix CMY to make a black!) through a 10 year old A4 Ricoh onto Tesco laser printer paper. End result is a really nice dense black and an A4 print ready for sublimating for about 3p. 185 degrees at 37 seconds gives superb results.

I pay 97p per vest. You can probably get cheaper by purchasing something like YOLO from BTC. But after quite extensive research in real environments we found Rodo's stand up to wear and tear the best

It does work well, but only with black I have found and then only on certain substrates.

Thankfully, this particular project is black only and it works very well on hi vis. Massive saving against dye sub paper :-)

Hi SocialGiraffe, I must apologize somehow I missed your post. As it turned out they needed them within a few days and I could not match their other suppliers price. Thanks for the offer though.

    Cheers
    Kath
