    Artech press info please

Hey all I'm looking to buy a swing away press as just starting with sublimation, have set aside about £150 for the press and was looking at the 38x38 artech swing away press on eBay, does anyone have experience with these, are they a good starter machine for doing crystals t-shirts, plaques etc or if not what could you recommend
    Best regards
    Carl

Hi Carl. This was one of our first presses and to be honest it's ok but not great. We dared not press more than four coasters or say one mouse mat at a time due to cloudy prints caused by the plate not always holding consistent temperature edge to edge. We upgraded to a more expensive press but can press twice as many items and consistent pressing every time. If it's a hobby you may be ok with cheap press but for business I suggest you invest a little more. Olly

The press we upgraded to is one which is a high end press at mid range price and cannot fault it. You would need two people to help carry the beast!
