    mug colour match. please

Hi all. we are struggling to match a green inner mug and handle. we want the font the same as the green inside and on the handle. we have tried various different shades and none are coming out even close to what we want. they are the ones from listawood. see picture. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    many thanks

I'd print numerous blocks of greens in different shades/ mixes of cyan, yellow and magenta and print these onto a sample mug. Look at the one that is the best match and then use that mix of cyan, yellow and magenta for your font colour.

like Martin said, try to print some green chart and see what one is close enough. you could try something like this

Making a bit of a rod for your back trying to colour match with sublimation tbh. So many variables to take into account and these could change in between different batches, temperature, new inks and so on.

totally agree justin. doesnt have to be spot on. just close enough would be great. all the mugs we have done and not been a problem. always a first for everything.

    Calvin,

Did you manage to get a near match for the coloured mugs; if you have, would you mind sharing the colour codes that you use, if I am not mistaken there are around 8 colours available in the market.

    Thx in advance.
