Epson 7110 is a great printer for sublimation using the latest head technology and its CHEAP for an A3 . Ive just popped my ink in and tested it and its pretty darn good :)

Sublinova ink and the same carts that the previous owners refilled ok, new carts arrived today so I will try them out if this latest head flush doesn't work. I've read mixed reviews on the CISS systems but don't know if that is down to the brand or the user, I would be very interested in purchasing a system myself.
Sublinova SMART ? ,,, this is NOT for that printer mate
Hi Mags,
I have a WF-7110 and was going to switch to Sublinova but woukld I be right in thinking the Precisioncore head is a TFP head rather than the DX series meaning I would need Sublinova Sure rather than the Smart?
we use Sublinova Sure in our WF-7110 printers but I have been advised by someone in the know that the Sublinova Smart inks also work.
Thanks for the input Gazfocus. I've seen a couple of posts from Mags saying that the Sublinova Smart is no good for the precisioncore heads, on the Inktec website it says the Sublinova Sure for TFP heads which is the precisioncore. It would be interesting to hear from anyone having success using the Sublinova Smart on a WF-7110. The Smart seems to be more readily available which would have made buying a little easier.
We actually buy our inks off Ken (mags) and he is the one that told me the smart inks work in the WF-7110 he worked with inktec to develop the sublinova sure inks iirc. The sure inks are a better match for the printheads in the WF-7110, but the smart inks do work also. Thanks for the input Gazfocus.
