17oz latte element also do 12oz?

Anyone know if a 17oz latte element (for mug press) can be used for smaller latte sizes as well? Such as 12oz. Do I presume that they all have the same size opening but are just shorter in length?

Different taper I believe. Pop in if you want to see how a 10oz latte is different to a 17oz latte and how the blankets are different.

No would be my answer. Too much of a taper difference. Smaller lattes are a bit of a pain as with the correct element it tries to push it out. Needs holding in place with a bit of imagination.

Well it seems most suppliers (including BMS) are out of stock of 17oz so wondered about smaller. Although to be honest we have stayed away from them for so long knowing they would be difficult to get right. May put the element back in the cupboard and work on a new shot glass range instead!
