Look at the soft heating ellement. Is same as on swing away. Its also smaller with bad shape. This is what makes those press so bad. Galaxy looks and works alright and you can change bases.

Hi Paul the inks are sublimation inks but not sawgrass they are c-eye inks I thought when i bought them they would maybe slightly inferior too sawgrass but the colours and contrast are way off , the cartridges are gc41 supposedly compatible with ricoh sg 3110dn printer ...
forgot to update on this thread, got myself a Galaxy Pluto press, ploughed through 130 shirts, very pleased with it indeed so it has alreay paid for itself.
Just need to get myself a pluto 38x38 now!
HI Paul, How's the cap press so far? I have the Galaxy 15x15 auto open press and looking for a cap press
Cheers
Danny
I bought a cap press many years ago when I worked in Spain. The shape is wrong for most caps so I lay an old t-shirt on the plattern to compensate for the bad shape.
I use it for caps , t-shirts, Bags and anything that is not able to go into the larger press because there is a Zip in the way.
A very usefull press to have.
Danny,
The galaxy pluto is a good bit of kit to have, i do mostly sleeves but will be doing caps also soon, well worth the money and a very solid piece of equipment with different size platens available, i just got the standard with mine but I think they run in at around £40.00 to £45.00 for bigger ones.
