    Printer setup

Hi everyone, my old epson printer packed up on me so iv got my self a new WF-7110 printer but was wondering if it's brand new (guessing it's never had ink go through it) can I just put the refillable carts in with the dye ink without having to use the oem carts? The old printer was given to me and was already set up for using dye ink(hopefully you can understand this) any help would be appreciated

If it's like mine you have to use startup carts first.

Ah ok, stupid question but can I flush the ink out after with the dye ink by doing several prints or would it be best to get the cleaning fluid to flush it out?

Yes, shouldn't hold much ink in, I just printed page blocks of colour.

I've got this printer and set it up with Sub ink, Don't whatever you do put in the carts that came with it.. if you have a empty set with sub ink use them from the start, It may not recognise them 1st attempt as Mine didn't but by the 4th attempt at 'installing new carts' it will come up saying continue anyway...just click yes, and remember to disable auto updates if your using the wifi, Causes no end of problems for the oem cartridges ..Good luck

Yea I have ordered refillable carts from nature inks first time ordering from them so don't know how good they are... Ink arrives tomorrow fingers crossed the carts won't take to long to arrive. My old printer was already set up so didn't need to do anything this is my first time setting up so bit clueless on how it's done will be using it via WiFi so will disable updates :)
