Hi all, hope everyone is enjoying the lovely weather :)
I've been beavering away trying to build up a customer base for my new little venture over the last couple of months. When I bought my kit second hand it came with a load of mugs and I have been struggling with every mug I have had to print. To get one saleable mug I would have to print 4, fading, creases, blowout, dodgy edges etc. I blamed paper, press, ink, technique etc. I resorted to heating up the whole mug in an older mug press to 60 degrees before putting the transfer on and putting it into the main press with little improvement. Anyway I finally worked my way through the mugs and ordered 36 more, I printed my first one using the new mugs last night and first time perfect!! LOL what a relief! Comparing the old and new, the old ones are seriously barrel shaped and have a ridge round the bottom. Anyway just wanted to share my eventual success with mugs as I was dreading every mug order I got :)
