Wide format question slightly off topic

    Hi guys,
I know this probably is the wrongg forum entirely but I thought I'd have a throw.
Does anyone know where I can get whole sale canvas stretcher bars and canvas rolls. I started selling, well the obvious, and I'm doing really well (yay!!)
I'm currently buying on ebay from a good supplier but really need to get my costs Down.
Any help would be most appreciated
    Thanks

    You pays your money.......

I tried ordering off eBay, the seller that dominates the site. They would ship a few bars to me that I wanted as samples, they wouldn't use Royal Mail :-(

I'm about to buy canvas material/bars so will watch this thread with interest!

I use elephant supplies for my bars and get canvas for my canvas and varnish.
I think elephant are the cheapest for bars.
I don't use the 18mm bars as they are a little wobbly on larger canvases. Yes it brings the cost down but do you want to lower quality for a couple of quid?

But i bet you use cheap polyester canvas though which is rubbish and yellows in sunlight ;). I used to make proper canvas for art galleries and the canvas itself was around £300 a roll but its proper archival canvas, to be honest if youre going to use polyester you may aswell use 18mm bars.

Anyone want and 38mm however i have a load here i wont use.

I don't see why I should use 18 just because I use poly canvas. Have you seen the price canvases go for on ebay? They want everything g for nothing!!
Why would I use £300 roll of canvas?
I know there are sellers selling 18mm frames on large canvases and get bad feedback for it. I'm a top rated seller and doing well so I'm happy to stick with that
Wouldn't mind some of those bars though.
    Would you message me
