Hi fellow DSF folks. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a digital temperature gun we can point at our presses and accurately get a read out please?

Thank you for recommendation. I shall go look online right now.
Good olde eBay. Found a Raytemp8 thermometer gun and best offer £13 accepted!! RRP about £90. We are sure one of our adkin mug presses is way hotter than others even though they all had new wrap recently.
In case it helps others - Our GeoKnight DK1 has a new wrap but a bubble appeared knocking out that area on all mugs. Had quick response from Aaron in the states from GK who said to use razor blade on it in order to burst. The wrap will then lie flat and will be fine again.
I bought one from Lidl, claims +- .5c but actually useless ..... how do you test/calibrate it?
I got a pan of water vigourously boiling and put a hammer in for a few minutes so I knew it was also at 100c
The gun gave me readings from about 85 to 127c - no use whatsoever!
How would you calibrate yours ?

My lidl gun is consistent, temp matches heat press reading within couple of degrees too, consistency is an important factor so if you get one that isn't perhaps return it for exchange

You cant use laser guns as the temperature of the press changes when the press is closed! Get wire probe one theyre around £50 and very accurate.
