For new equipment I dont think you have quite enough money yet. The hardest part of sublimation when starting out is getting quality consistent results, buying quality machines will help you achieve that.
Keep saving, and while you are saving get practicing with a good graphics software program so when you eventually get your kit you can hit the ground running.
You're only a couple of £100 short of a decent A4 printer and a decent mug press, get that and "trade" yourself up for more decent equipment.

I would suggest you choose to offer mugs OR tshirts and spend all your £$£ on that setup, - earn some money, and add the other.
Do not get caught up on the idea that you will do best by offering customisation of every product under the sun when in reality, Mugs n T's are you bread, butter, cake & beer!
    imho

To buy a decent quality heat press which will give you consistent output will cost you more than you currently have at the moment. If you buy a cheap press you may get lucky, but 9/10 you will have wasted your money, time and many blanks.

Save up some more money, you are still £200 short for a decent mug press setup. I would guestimate you are £600 short for a flat bed clam heat press set up.

This isnt really a business you can get set up in for sub £500 if you want to sublimate to a standard to earn money.

Ive just seen your'e other post re heat press, as a hobbyist search by "cheapest first" on ebay I'm sure something will turn up in your price range.

I dont think it matters much really, you just want something that gets hot to have a go with from what you have said previously.
