Inner width on my boxes are 79mm. Xpres mugs are 81-82mm diameter subject to variation of a couple of mm. So the boxes would need to be at least 5mm bigger. OK, they fit with a bulge, but not the safest, anything that touches the wall of a parcel will get smashed.

All we can go on is experience and having used over 100 of these boxes on listawood and xpres 10oz mugs recently then we have not had one smash. We see it as an advantage that the mugs fit so snug (touch the sides) because it is the movement of a mug inside the box which can cause major problems such as handle hitting the side and breaking off.

When Longforte tell you to insert the mug in as pictured. This is the wrong way! The weakest part of the mug is the handle and it's placed against the weakest part of the box. Place the handle at the front where it has an extra wall of cardboard protecting it.

    Hi ArferMo,

Thanks for your comment. Many of the customers of our 11oz Durham Mugs use these boxes and all of our mugs have an 8cm diameter.

If you're not convinced just send us your address and we'll pop over a free sample to you so you can try them out yourself.

    Kind regards,
    Jay

So these are out of stock with Longforte at the moment, where else can they be had from? I liked the white over the usual brown though I can't be too fussy as I've none here!

I'm using the white boxes from subliblanks. Good fit and nice and white. Only downfall is that they shed a lot more dust than other boxes I've tried.
