I want to order a Sawgrass 400 and my first blanks from BMS. I have not found anywhere better. Shall I just go ahead and do it? Been reading here there and everywhere for a while now.
Wanting you to say 'yes'.
Thanks

As a premium member you can get some great discounts on blanks with Xpres among others :-) Excellent support from Xpres and Listawood to name just two. TMT also offer superb support. Don't just go for the cheapest, work with a supplier that will give you the ongoing support you'll need.
Membership scheme now available - Just £10 per year - Regular Supplier Discounts and Special Offers!
The SG400 with SubliJetHD cartridges and PowerDriver will be exactly the same from all sublimation suppliers. I may have a biased view on where you buy it of course :), but members on here will have their own preferred suppliers for whatever reason.
Will have to contact you tomorrow for a 'chat'. - she says in a creepy voice.
My personal opinion, buy a ricoh 3110dn for less than 50quid its exactly the same bar tiny firmware adjustments
If you have the inks already then maybe otherwise a package deal with Sawgrass inks doesn't make the printer that much more expensive really and of course you will get better support from a sublimation supplier than you would from say "a large rain forest warehouse full of robots".
Thats true for some but there are 3rd party offerings that also offer fantastic support too. Only benefit of using sawgras system is the warranty on hardware but you pay a premium for that as you would for anyone offering a warranty. If you have the inks already then maybe otherwise a package deal with Sawgrass inks doesn't make the printer that much more expensive really and of course you will get better support from a sublimation supplier than you would from say "a large rain forest warehouse full of robots".
Yes and in fact we this week are experimenting going away from Sawgrass ink on one of our new printers. We still wouldn't dare migrate 100% away from SG as never had that much of an issue with the ink but we are producing some lower cost gifts and ink price would help keep costs down. Once we get out ICC profile back from Paul then we will be able to compare with SG ink.
I would be very interested in the result of that experiment.
Anything I achieve I learnt on here for ten quid a year

So would we :-) Just waiting for the ICC profile (Paul would of only received our swatch print outs yesterday) then we can print and compare.
