    Help! Cut the wrong vinyl!

    Hi there,

We're preparing logos for a full set of football kit, 60 odd pieces all together. I've got a sports vinyl in stock especially for the job.

I used 5m of the right product but then unfortunately, I put the wrong roll into the cutter and have cut half the job on Politape Flex Perform (http://www.abcfoil.com/media/catalog...orm_0001_2.jpg) which says it's suitable for poly/cotton mix but doesn't say anything about 100% polyester. I'm not even sure which logos are cut on the right vinyl and which on this Politape.

Has anyone any advice on whether they think the politape perform will be ok?

    Thanks

    The below is a guess....

I would say yes, it will be "OK" Poly/cotton blends can be as much as 85% poly and in my humble opinion is as good as saying 100% poly. I would suggest you cut a very small square and press to the inside of one of the garments at the bottom near the seam (somewhere no one will notice). if it sticks then you should be OK with it.

Having said the above, if the kit is not urgent, purchase the right stuff and put the right vinyl on the garment. There should be enough profit in 60 garments so that you will not lose money and at least you will send the product out correctly.
