Corel Draw Home and Student Suite X8 vs Graphics Suite X8

    Hi,

Just would like to know is Home and Student version good enough for everything I will need or should I rather pay a bit more and buy Graphics Suite.

    Thank you

Horses for courses. Are you mainly concerned with vector or raster work?

    You'll find a comparison breakdown here - http://www.coreldraw.com/static/cdgs...-matrix-en.pdf

Take particular note that CorelDraw X8 and PhotoPaint do not support the Pro features that you get in the Graphics Suite X8 version. The Pro features contain many of the colour enhancement and proofing options which may help in obtaining a good sublimation print.

I use Photoshop though so can't be of any more assistance.

    Thank you webtrekker,

What version of Photoshop are you using ? I am still not sure what software I should start with (invest my time and money) as in my opinion it is better to start with one and than go and properly learn the other one.

At the moment I am just at the beginning of my "sublimation journey" and also do not have lot of experiences with CC and PS.

Maybe it does not really matter but maybe it is easier to start with PS and than try CR or other way round I do not know.

So if you have any advice Ill really appreciate it ...

Depending on your printer setup, Home and Student might not be enough - it doesn't have the colour management options which the full version does, and so isn't any good for using printer profiles.

legally home & student is not for commercial use.
I have it on our home computer, and while much of it is the same, I really miss print preview, and ability to micro control print options, - so often don't get size perfect or crop the edge off.
There are other subtle differences too, but a massive difference in price!
