Dont be shy, lets see your workspace!

As above. I know most may not want to show their work area / shop / room etc but im not bothered. I built an extension on the side of the house. A lot of stock kept in the loft too. Dont go getting awesome equipment envy (or deffo not!!)

    Heres mine!

    Upgrades will come soon.

And one doing what I do best. Drinking Tea!!!

I'm more than happy to receive comments both positive and negative but seeing as I didnt even have the extension 18 months ago I'm happy with what we have.

Looks like it's a mugs game! Very nicely organised and quite spacious unless it's the camera angle! What's the width and length of the room?

We have just moved from an industrial unit to a single garage so it is in larrups at the moment but we are slowly getting rid of more and more stuff and we are able to work from it and make money so that is fine.

Moving to the smaller place is one of the motivations for wanting to go into mugs etc. Eventually we want to move away from sign making -especially the bigger stuff- and more towards small stuff that is easy to shift.

I will take some photos when I get in this afternoon. Out applying graphics to cars this morning.

My workroom is a bit like Harry Potter's cupboard under the stairs!

I have taken over our largest bedroom and you still couldn't swing a cat in there. There's stuff all over the place and my wife would kill me if she found out I'd posted a pic of it!

    Equipment:

2x PC's, one with dual monitors.
    Silver Bullet cutting machine.
    5-in-1 heat press.
    Stand-alone mug press.
    2x Ricoh 3110DN sublimation printers.
Canon Pixma ix6800 A3+ inkjet printer.
    Guillotine.
    Tetley tea.

Plus loads of miscellaneous gadgets and gizmos that I mainly never use but I'm a natural hoarder anyway.

Last time I shared photos of our working environment, 3 months later the person I sent them to developed a similar set up. Wouldn't overly mind usually but they happened to be a very large customer...... now ex-customer.

I understand if some dont want to show theirs for whatever reason. Skarekrow that looks a neat set up. Did you make the vinyl rack yourself?

And our place is about 12 foot wide and 14ft long.

    That looks like a garage.

Does the cold not affect the heat press or printer inks.

Only asking because I have a concrete outdoor shed which would be perfect for me to use but I was concerned about the cold affecting the equipment.

We had to move in here in a bit of a hurry so we have not done as much insulation as we would have liked. We insulated the roof. Next we are going to insulate the garage door.

I am thinking of building an enclosure for the sublimation printer and paper that can be closed when not in use and we will have a small heater to protect it from the cold and damp.

Don't forget we are way down south in Cornwall so we don't really get that cold.

We have enough room to build a good size shed next to the garage so we may build that next year and move the t-shirt and mug printing in there.

We are saving £450 a month by working from here so we can afford to put the heating on a little more often.
