That's a good list Arthur. Most before my time first time around but love a lot of that stuff. Guess I have past my trance days and never going to be my first choice. When the bpm gets to high it almost flatlands into whiten noise. Certainly found music taste develops over the years. Hated heavy metal first time around but now love song Metallica and Ozzy. Collecting vinyl sounds like a good hobby like Justin. Might have a go at that.
Massive fan of Oi music, street punk and skinhead tunes, Bands like The Business, Sham 69, Stiff little Fingers, The Clash, The Sex Pistols etc, Followed with a bit of Ska, Madness, The specials, Bad Manners, etc
The older you get the broader the music.
Anything psychedelic.

6 music during the day.

My all time fave album is Aladdin Sane by David Bowie closely followed by What's Going On by Marvin Gave, Marquee Moon by Television, Looking Through the Windows by the Jackson Five, Pearl by Janis Joplin, Here Comes the Sun by Nina Simone (great version of My Way), Station to Station by David Bowie, Reverence by Faithless and more recently Moon Safari by Air and True by Avicii.
So a bit of the old (well, quite a lot really) and a bit of the new(ish).
Anything except Jazz and Country really.
I tend to drift from one thing to another quite regularly, currently I'm in a transition from Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks into a kind of Happy Mondays/Primal Scream/Inspiral Carpents kinda thing that seems to have been triggered by the recent death of the 'Carpets drummer Chris Gill.
Punk/Metal at heart though. My claim to Fame is that my first job after leaving school at 16 was as a Roadie on Judas Priest's "World Wide Blitz" tour through the UK and German dates in November 1981 through to Xmas, for the princely sum of £25 a week on a youth training scheme!
I like David Bowie music, T-Rex, Queen, Elvis, The Beatles, seventies, eighties, early nineties, jazz, classical and some country music. It depends on the song I guess, and voice.
I'm not a fan of R&B, head-banging music or songs with gloomy lyrics in.
That's about it .
I don't listen to lyrics! I could barely sing along, perhaps a few Bob Marley ones. But not being a black nationalist makes me sound a bit silly!
