    Texpress Chief Heatpress

I have a Texpress Chief heatpress for sale. It's an old one probably about 30-35 years old. Pullout drawer type.

Looking for about £75 to anyone near enough Dunfermline as it must be uplifted. If anyone's interested they are welcome to come and try it out first, tea and biscuits will be provided. I have lots more images if anyone wants to see more.

Drawbacks: The counter is stuck at 29 seconds. To change the temperature you have to use a small screwdriver to turn the screw and you don't know what it's at until it stops, if it's too high you have to turn the screw again in increments until you find the good spot. It's rusty on the top but the platten itself is clean. I've used it for vinyl and heat transfers. Haven't used it for sub tshirts but don't see that would be a problem.

Adding in important details I forgot :)

    The platten is 38 x 38cm

It's 98cm long when the drawer is pulled open and is 70cm long when the press is in position to press as the base at the back juts out.

The press is 41cm wide at widest and 41cm tall

As far as I'm aware the heat is even all over. I've not had any problems when using it. I haven't been able to measure it accurately. An infrared gun doesn't work on it and although I have a wire thing whatever you call it for taking temperatures I'm not sure how accurate it is. I'm pretty sure I tested it with vinyl and transfer paper when I got it but I'll try and get time tomorrow and do some printing in the middle and all around the outer edges and let you know for sure.

If you don't live too far away Disky come and have a shot of it and see what you think. No hard sell from me.
