Hi guys, I have had my cameo cutter for about 2 years now and its never let me down.., untill a week ago, when I turned it on and after its say load/unload matt etc then, after about 2 seconds it says working,
now there is nothing on screen yet to cut or not been sent to the cutter ?? I turn it off and on again and after 3 seconds says working, now I have left it "working" for 20 mins now and still its "WORKING"
now before I threw it out the window anyone know why this is happening ??

Throw it out of the window! Seriously!

Cameo's are ok for a bit of hobby work, but if you're using this for a business then you'll be better off with something more reliably built. I know ............. been there, done that!

Have you updated the software, if so roll it back, apparently the new release has some bugs.

hi guys thanks for the replies, all software is updated and Cameo people have told me to reboot my computer and reinstall the cameo software with the updated code for the software, and then go from there so did that last night and after a few mis cuts it all seems to be ok so far and cutting as it should so mot sure what caused it to mess up in the first place.

    thanks

Glad that you got it sorted - software corruption sometimes occurs without apparent reason, though often due to improper shutdowns and similar.

Replied really to counter an earlier comment - we have a cameo, and another as a backup, plus a liyu and a versacamm for other duties, but our cameo has been faultless despite being worked harder than I'd want to be!

We could survive without it, but it's certainly a machine that I'd recommend without hesitation, based on our experience...
