Tip Product Of The Day - Canon Luster A3 Paper Alternative

For those that perhaps offer/sell prints and currently use Canon Luster Pro A3 paper then you'll know how expensive it is becoming (and eBuyer have dropped it as a product). Around £1.75 a sheet.

BUT WAIT - we took delivery of some alternative "lustre" A3 295GSM paper that currently works out at just 36p (inc vat) a sheet and although we tend to print more block colour than photos it is VERY impressive and certainly we will be using for our retail prints:

Yes, the title says 260GSM (which is the same as the Canon Luster Pro) but on delivery it turned out to be 295GSM and ignore the fact it says for Pixma Pro. We use ip8750 and it prints perfectly. The white sheen to the surface is absolutely no different to the Canon paper.

    Regards, Olly.

    Hi Olly

I've been using Colourbyte for some time now, good quality paper and their Premium Lustre A3 260gsm is around £35. may be worth a look.....
