How low do Royal Mail go?

Just that really. Just toying with ideas and was wondering what the RM charge for single mug on RM 48 or 2nd class for big bulk. Anybody got any ball park figures?

Not sure what the code is but it's £2.09 (plus vat) per parcel.

That's what I'm paying. Haven't tried asking for a discount, but they collect my mail for free.

Mine aren't collected, but the Post Office is just around the corner. literally a short walk. Which is ideal as I get the days shopping at the same time from the Supermarket.

Spend £15K a year with them and they'll waive the £1000 fee.

I think you need to get into extremely high volumes to get more discount, and its only a very small percentage. Thats the drawback with sub mugs, the postage cost is too high a percentage cost of the total price.

You would be better doing a 6 mug deal and try and get the spend upto the £20+ mark, I know a lot easier said than done.
