Having trouble pressing printed vinyl onto drawstring bags

    Hi
I have a BN-20 and am using the C-Print PU+ so the temp is 155 and time 15 seconds. I am pressing the transfers onto the bagbase drawstring bags. A few I did at Christmas the transfer tape seems to get ripples in it and on some these ripples went through to the transfer itself and on some when I pulled the transfer tape off the transfer came away in places. I thought maybe it was the pressure and that I was using a teflon pillow but have also used mouse mats underneath to raise the bag up a little to avoid the drawstrings. Any ideas where I am going wrong? I have also melted the lunch bags that I did this week but will try those again on a lower temp.
    Thanks
    Lianne

Try pre-pressing the bags for a few seconds before you print. Polyester will shrink very slightly at higher temperatures, which could be the reason for the rippling.

Thank you, this seems to have done the job. I did start off pre-pressing in the beginning but to save time cut that step out as I didn't think it did anything but seems it does! Thank you.
