    Paper size for mugs

Was talking to someone today that does mugs and sells them on Facebook..

she he was telling me that she's fed up with wasting so much sub paper and when I asked what she meant, she told me she used 1 sheet of a4 sub paper for each image, unless she was doing a larger run, then she would get 2 out of an a4 sheet.

i only buy trupix paper now, but I have a mate that's a print finisher and he guilotines the a4 down to 210x99mm for me so I get 3 mugs out of every sheet.

does anyone else do that, or is it just me

We print 3 to a sheet then guillotine them :-).

Less wear on the printer that way...

Not me, I only get two to a sheet as I have my paper pre-cut to 235 x 100mm

Might need to get a wide format soon as that will save the pennies

We generally only get two designs on a single A4 sheet as we like to get the paper close to the mug handle. Some smaller designs do actually allow three to a single page but if we are in a hurry they often still get printed off as two to a single sheet.

3 to a sheet for me to, you can save the paper and adjust accordingly from within the paper feeder but if its a large run then 3 to a sheet always as I know I will use them and i'm not wasting paper, 8 inches by 3 inches per print is what I use and can get 3 of those to an A4 sheet
