    Listawood AAA mugs.

Well I don't think I have ever used the Listawood AAA photo mugs before, so as I was feeling adventurous I have ordered some to see what they are like.
Very rare for me to venture away from my usual supplier, but every now and then trying something different has to be done.

Just ordered some more myself today. Last lot were excellent, not a single defective mug.

I'm intrigued about the finish of them and how they print. Apparently due tomorrow.

I'd like to know your thoughts on them when you've tried them out Janners. I'm just a small, one man band operation, and don't print anywhere near the quantities you probably do, so I'd really like to know how they compare to your usual mugs.

    Well the mugs arrived today.
First off the outer box is different. If they arrived in identical packing to my normal supplier I would go "Hmmm". Open it up and the plastic bag is different.

Get a mug out and it looks identical to my normal supplier, so put it side by side....bugger they look identical to the point which was which!

So let's look close, handle shape - the same, handle fixing - the same, mug wall thickness - the same, shade of white - the same, depth of mug inside - the same, weight - the same (to the gram!), base of mug - the same, straightness - the same (Pretty good)

I find a difference, if I look really, really intensely at the handles the Listawood AAA mugs are slightly shinier than some of my normal suppliers mugs, and some of my normal suppliers mugs might have a pinprick somewhere. "Some" here means very few, but there are "some".

Print - same printer, same settings on press....can't tell the difference.

    So in summary.
As far as I can tell the mugs are the same. I have gone through a box of Listawood AAA mugs and can not find a fault, there are 3 mugs that have a pinprick or slightly mat handle in my normal suppliers box, I would still use these and have never had anybody complain.
I cannot pass comment on life in the dishwasher and the Listawood mugs do make quite a claim.

NOTE I said the mugs appear the same I cannot say they are the same and as for the coating applied and it's durability....no idea!

    My normal supplier? Coralgraph.

Rather unscientific, and probably no help to anybody!

    Janners
