looking for template for mug printing where i can see a copy of mug before printing

Hi, I'm sorry I expect this may have been covered before but cant find it.
I'm looking for a programme where I can see the mug printed before I actually print it, so basically I can advertise a mug with a photo without having to print every mug.
I found a website many years ago but cant remember what site it was,

    any help would be appreciated

You can use the mockup generator on Printful - https://www.printful.com/generator which is quite good.

At a glance it seems Printful is a company who print on your behalf and send directly to your customer and consequently the purpose of their mock-up generator is for displaying their products with your design in your online shop, for a product they will print for you.

You can save the mockups produced and use them yourself. I know of loads of people who do this. It's dead easy.

I have no doubt you are correct and that it can be done and it is easy. However, it is only fair to question the morality of using their software for your own gains when you have no intention of offering them any financial reward. Just putting it out there so Andy Thomas can consider his stance.

the printful one is ok but it failed to size things and said items to small etc when the zazzle one was easy and worked every time and was able to see different sides to mug. surely I can purchase what seems like a simple programme .

Please direct me to where it says on their site that I can't use their generator for my own purposes?

Just take a screenshot and then use your graphic package to cut the image.

Alternatively if you use chrome install the Awesome Screenshop Extension and then you can select an area to capture. It's what I do.
