We have one of these too. Don't really use it now.. too unreliable. One side is fine, the other ignores the temperature control totally which renders it useless. It's set to 170C but you see it at 220C so ther thermostat isn't doing anything at all. Then it gives an error message and tells you it's at 17C with smoke pouring out of it. Cheap tat I'm afraid.

I do 10 mug to 100 mugs or a very regular basis and find it excellent, I only wish the beeps was a bit louder so when I doing other things it would alert me. Have you try to speak to the person who you brought it of. Maybe they will replace it with one that holds it temp. With mine it holds temp and counts down when it gets there.

Jenny, do you find that you have to get the prints bang in the center, I mean, equal distance from the handle on either side as I find that if i go 8.5 - 8.8 inches wide it's not pressing it properly, 8 inches is fine and no feathering?

I think it's a great machine really! I've just posted on another thread that I started here, Signzworld are selling this very same machine for almost £900.00!!!

I generally use the the long handle as a postilion for the middle and place the mug handle to find the middle in that, that work for me. If I'm doing a full wrap I remove the Teflon and that works for me 99% of the time.

Do you find the pressure isn't great, I did when I got it (few days old) I've had to tighten the screws all the way in, i can basically push the handles onto the mug with one finger?

The handle is easy to push down but the images are good, I use the 11ozs mugs, maybe that it.
