I'm not sure on the version number but its the very latest model here http://www.galaxy-press.co.uk/mug-pro. Subliblanks sell them at £200 with a standard element plus £50 for additional elements.

    Hi.
Sorry to gate crash but.......I've seen a 12 mug press on ebay (£345 from Signzworld) and was wondering if anyone had tried it? If so, what were the results like? I'm a total newby (just bought some equipment and still yet to produce a single mug/shirt) but really see this as future for me.

IN A FEW WORDS >>>> Stay well away from Signzworld for any equipment - there stuff is crap, as is there aftersales service, or rather, lack of !!
Been there and got stung with a mug press last yr

Most regulars on here will recommend single head units....that way you got back up's, as well as the multiples to do volume work.
If you 12 head press develops a fault, your stuffed...so you got 20 orders in for mugs, and a 12 head press that not one works due to electric fault..

    Stick with singles bud

Thanks for the heads up. Makes total sense I guess. Still wouldn't mind a 5 bank and 2 doubles to go with my single. Covers all bases then.
Really appreciate the input and advice.

When you say a 12 mug press, are you talking about a vacuum press? This is totally different to a standard mug press that uses a heat blanket.

Yes, it is a vacuum press. I'm not sure how they differ though. Logically though a 5 and 2 doubles to supplement the single I already have would give greater flexibility.
