Do you have a profile for your paper in Wasatch ? And do you have florescent inks in your VJ628 ? If not it might be worth installing the VPM as it has profiles for a number of papers including True pix . This might get you better results at a higher dpi ?

Many profiles. Sawgrass also made one at 1200x1200 but it's no use as it puts too much ink down. Need the RIP I'm afraid.
No worries, I don't want to change the direction of the thread, cheers :-)

Exactly what my sources said as well. The SG3110 may stop production but the Sawgrass badged printer will continue. The SG400/800 are not being discontinued

Novachrome.co.uk sell the Sawgrass 2 year warranted sg400 for £350 and the sg800 £899 which is a considerable saving on retails of £429 & £1324 (all plus vat). They are supportive, include a remote login service if needed and attend most of the shows including printwear and promotion, next at the print show in Telford this October. I've spoken with them a few times and found them helpful and informative. If your looking for a 3110 replacement with Sawgrass ink this maybe the cheapest available.but for how long I don't know.
