    Why would this happen...stumped :(

    Hi guys

I've printed a million mugs (well, maybe slight exaggeration!) and they've all been fine. Asked by the other half to do this for him and bleurgh! the print is uneven. I;ve done it 3 times now and I still have no idea why its happening. Have checked and the heat settings are all fine, both "bits" are selected. Another mug with a different design was in at the same time and that's all fine.

    Brassed off :(

Could well be that your mug element needs replacing.

This is the 'print things for family members' issue that only affects orders for your nearest and dearest! Also known as Sods Law!

is it the mottling in the green?

Tell me about it - i want to actually kick the stupid heat press at the minute LOL. Yes, it was mottle but, it seemed as if half the ring was darker and the other half was lighter as well as mottled.

I turned 2nd mug over and did it open bit down and it was still the same. The other mugs have all been perfect :(

I think that it's because of the press pressure
It's too light where you have the misprints
Try to make higher press pressure

Bizarrely, the only issue we have is with predominantly green images, exactly the same issue as you have.

Initially suspected the element but it is perfect on other designs.

It is most notable, as yours at each end of the design nearest to the handle.

Has anyone else seen this or have a solution?

We have never needed to pre-warm our mugs but am considering it
