Stick to a premium mug like Xpres 5013. I received some Coralgraph mug samples but binned them on sight!

Are you talking generally or specifically the recently released Ultra White?

Not quite so recently released as their website states; galerion was talking about these mugs back in 2015:

A plus plus plus mugs? I'll wait until the plus plus plus plus mugs are released.

Cotlralgraph mugs are generally very good on both print levels and value. Used over 10k over recent months. Orca coated.

Xpres I find a poor option myself. Just goes to show there are many varied opinions.

Does the base need to be pre-heated with Coralgraph's best mugs? Which ones are you using?

No preheating needed. The Orca mugs from Neil Bros used to need preheating but they seem to be fine without as well these days. Bases aren't quite as heavy these days it seems.

It is their standard 10oz. We don't do one of but bulk runs so might not be as picky if there might be a pinhole by handle etc ( which isn't overly the case anyway) but they print well and top to bottom.

Don't think Xpres warrants the extra cost myself. Dion mugs are also another mug we use which are good.

That's the difference though; consistency with those Thai manufactured mugs and you get a good solid, decent weighted mug. With Orca or Listawood the ceramic changes from batch to batch.

And with Xpres, they'll happily replace anything unprintable.

Thought Xpres changed their 10oz mug from the Chentegh Thai factory to fully Chinese over a year ago. I got caught out ordering mugs from them during the changeover and they were totally different. Didn't realise they had a Thai and Chinese version at the time then they told me the main mug was switching to China.

Xpres new paper I find good though.

I call them Thai because they appear to identical to 10oz Raja mugs. I also bought a box of BMS European mugs and they seem identical too.

I was a bit quick recommending the new Xpres paper, it doesn't like solid colour at all. It slashed my printing times though.
