    Sublimation paper storage.

Most sublimation paper seems to come with instructions to keep it in the original packaging until it is required. So mine sits in a box on the top of my Sawgrass SG400 and then I put a few sheets in at a time when I need to. However the SG400 has quite a large paper tray so I could easily fit at least 100 sheets in.

My question is – do I really need to keep it in the original packaging. (normally a carboard box on top of the printer)

What’s the difference between that and storing it in the printer paper tray ?

Does anyone else just store it in the paper tray ?

We buy in 100m rolls, and the rolls are loaded onto the printer, and sit there unsealed until they're used up.
