    Hi Justin, yes have done and as in original post have tried a totally different profile to prove system was working ok and printed out a sheet with different colours .

    Although the supplier may not be welcome, they still provide OKish mugs.

    With regards to the time, are you setting 200 seconds from once the mug press is back up to temperature? If you set a mug press at 180 degrees, when you put the mug it the temp drops to about 150-160 degrees. When it reaches 180 again is when the 200 seconds should start.

    Hi Socialgiraffe, Yes that is the case.
    The mugs do seem ok but they were the only thing that was left to change. I had had good results on ceramic coasters so from that, assuming the printing side is ok. I am printing artists artwork so looking for best possible results.

    Could it be the element on your mug press - not giving the correct temp reading?

    Hi John G, Had not thought of that. It is new and have printed a few Durham mugs ok, that is not to say that the tapered insert may be faulty!
