I have an Epson Stylus 9900, which is underutilised.

Recently a touring Printer technician from a Mumbai Inkjet industry enlightened me on how I can enter to Dye-Sublimation business by converting my existing 9900.He says the 11 channels can be bifurcated to 4+4+4+4> 8 channels Dye-Sublimation.
Rest 3 channels convert to Black only to print Positives for film printing for my LF Screen printing.

Is this advisable?
Well, I have to use this printer: No much color printing, so Sublimation s the way, I think

My previous Head has become faulty due to keeping it idle.

Ink: The Mumbai company has their own Sub Ink, says great for Epson Head.

What are problems to be cautioned while converting? I will lose Epson warrantee on the head.

Please enlighten me what are to be cautioned?
