    Epson wf-7710

    Any ideas if this printer can be used for sublimation been told i can not but then someone else said it can? Baffled

    Hi, Yes you can but i dont think they are thought of very highly. I have one that just died.

    yes these can be used but as stated they are highly unreliable for sub printing.

    I went through 3 in less that 6 months each time the heads blocked up beyond repair. Then there's the consistent phantom paper jam that takes ages to resolve.

    it might be a cheap A3 printer but save your money and go for another option. Well worth spending the extra on a proper sub printer.

    I would suggest forgetting completely about the workforce range of printers for sublimation. I really don't think the heads are up to sub printing.

    If you want to go with a Epson printer for sub go with one of the photo printers such as the Expression XP-900 they cost about the same as the workforce but are a lot more simple with less to go wrong.

    I am really new to this and it had been sat too long while my project went on hold. Wont make that mistake again. Have now ordered an Epson 1500w kit and hoping to get up and running properly now.
