    heat press platen

    I have a heatpress swing arm press from sublimagic and i require a bigger heat plate at leased A4 or A3 size does anyone know where i can purchase said item in the uk

    Are you looking for a larger heat press or just the heat element? There are lots of suppliers offering larger heat presses in the "suppliers list" within the General Dye Sub section

    You may struggle to find this, unless the press is designed to take a larger platen and that supplier keeps them in stock.

    Often the components inside the press are geared towards a specific type of heat platen, e.g. the relay as well as the power cable. A larger heat platen will consume a higher wattage. Also the base of the press will need to be larger to accomodate the new larger heat platen and this would mean that the spring mechanism can take the extra weight as well as ensuring the hinge mechanism will still function with the larger heat platen fixed.

    Is your press designed to take larger heat platens?
