ArTainium UV+ ICC color profiles etc Helllp

Hello, me again. Well it's not that easy coming back into something 4 years on so I'm kind of starting from scratch as a sublinator :-)

I am using the epson D120 and installed the ArTainium 'UV+ ICC color profiles' using the manual that came with the ink system. Once I completed the installation and printer set up I was told to name the set up as Dye sublimation.

Now, when I open an image in photoshop, do I have to assign the 'ArTainium UV+ ICC color profile' to the image, I went to profiles in photoshop and found the above profile, images are slightly to dark.

Confused? sorry. Any advice on how to get the best image would be great. Last time round I was doing some great work, now 4 years older an on, not so good :-)

Slightly too dark on screen, on paper or on final printed item? If the latter, what are you printing onto, at what temp and what time?

I believe Sawgrass now package their profiles in a self extracting installer, that requires you to register with them. Other than that, there should be no reason not to be able to open them.

Ohhh i got ou. All you need to do is to register with your printer number. Print noZle chek and nimber under nozzle is number that you need. Then put some fals info in fields where you got it from and all should work.
