ok. pps! got this problem again!
I had a go with three diferent type of paper. some of them give better result some of them worst but still prints from texprint are worst and you can see grains. most of my picture are bright. on white background. like this:
I actualy carried my test on this same image :(
worst is on white metal. its better on the mug but not best. same happen when printed grey scale. solid dark colours are ok. any ideas??

I had a similar issue with my D120 last year. It had been working just fine for months, then suddenly started printing really really dark and quite grainy. I downloaded a new Profile from Sawgrass website, but I know you have made your own profile, so may not be the same issue for you. MAY be worth using your Munki again to try making a new profile?
I got so frustrated eith the D120, I binned it!

profiled it again! colours are fine but this bloody grain... I try to post some pics later on.

is it possible that ink is out of date now?? It make me think as I dont do this stuff for money so I dont print loads every day. so I use one set of ink in 1.5year...
