Looking for someone who could press an image onto a single place mat for me

    Hi,

I'm now have my mug printing set up going and starting to produce my designs. Before I go into final production, I want to get all my colour processes profiled so I can ensure accurate colours. I have a monitor calibration puck to ensure I have good colour fidelity on the display, I have an IT8 target for calibrating my scanner and the final thing I need to calibrate is my dye sub printer. I need to produce a flat item that can be scanned by a profiling company but I only have a heat press for mugs at the moment.

If I printed out a sheet to be heat pressed, could someone who has a heat press and a place mat blank be so kind as to heat press it and send it to me so I can get it scanned. I would, of course, cover all costs involved. The profiling company say that a profiling target pressed onto a flat surface like a place mat would be fine for creating a profile that will work for mugs.

If someone could do this, let me have some contact details and I'll get in touch directly.

    Thanks very much,

    Justin.

Hi! why not use me for profile?? :)
only joking... :D use whoever you wish lol :d

when I do profile i can press colour chart on fabric. this will give you good reading too. also alluminium sheet can be used fine.

out of interest. how many colour samples is on your chart?

Hi Paul, didn't know anyone on here did profiles. Could you let me know what profile chart you use as you'd have to have the correct file for it I imagine, and could you also tell me what equipment you use for the scanning please. Might be a better option than printing/pressing/sending off.

    Thanks.
