I have been investigating the possibility of temporary garment decoration, - an idea that seems counter-intruative, but one I know that will emerge in the future!
A top has 2 cost elements, the garment, and it's decoration.
For one off events costs are often minimised by using poor quality tops. I see a future when we invest in great tops, but decorate using new techniques that come off in the wash, or have thermal adhesives that break down using special detergants.
Think of the possibilities for promotion teams, shop staff, stag/hen events, fancy dress partys and more.
I have asked around a little.
One option on WHITE tops is to use cpm from the magic touch which does a great job, but has a funny texture.
I dream of temporary vinyl.
Has anyone encountered any products, or workarounds?
Here is a research site in Netherlands, but content is a bit weak, - I can only hope!

I predict temporary decoreation will become a big trend in the future, on practical, environmental, and economic grounds.
I invite comment.
