    Template or photograph?

    Hi guy's,
I'm planning ahead here as I have still not produced a single mug  There have been a few logistic problems completing my new workshop (shed!) & all my new mug producing kit still sits un-wrapped, in boxes and in my hallway!
How do you guy's display your mug creations on your websites/Ebay?
Do you use a blank template of a mug & simply add your design to it or do you break out the camera and take photographs?
    Which way is best?
Your advice as usual is gratefully received.

    Phil

You could always use the images supplied by companies such as xpres.

I looked at the Xpres site but they have all got pictures on them already. I found one by doing a little search and came up with the one below. Any good?

Bit of a wierd handle on that one :) Just take a photo yourself of your mug. You can get good effects if you place a mug on a sheet of glass with a white background. Or why not take a photo of a mug you've printed yourself as well (a before and after shot)? Gets around any problems of copyright as well.
