Hi Lisa
I get them sent in jpeg format, and the higher the resolution the better. Minimum would be 300 dpi. I got one the other day and it was 5mb and it was huge, lol
Thanks Kaz
300dpi would be ideal but most members of the public wouldn't have a clue. Best thing to say is if they've taken a photo on their camera then give you the file in the size it is. If you want a picture to be, say 20cm x 20cm at 300dpi then a jpg from a camera which may be 80cm x 80cm at 72dpi would be okay as you'd compress the image into a small size and so still get similar quality.
fab, I dont really have a clue either!
20x20 would be ok for mugs
thanks
That would be a HUGE mug! :o20x20 would be ok for mugs
true but not all ;)Originally Posted by KazHi Lisa

highest resolution is the most importent. make sure pictures r not less then 800x600 or simillar.
most of cameras and flat bed scaners making/scanning photographs at 72dpi (dot per inch)
