    outside durability aluminium

I mostly do mugs and aluminium metal, with images printed on for indoor use.

I about to do a friend a favour by doing some of his Boxer dog images printed onto sublimation Aluminium metal (8"x8"). These are for outdoor use all year round.

Can I benefit from the more experience member by asking .? will they last 12-months, 24-months, less or more.

Depends if they're in direct sunlight. Up here we have very high UV and images fade far quicker than you'd imagine. Personally I wouldn't even put printed alu out unless it was behind UV resistant glass or very well coated. Does it have to be alu?

Thanks Justin, I'm saying alu because I have alu at hand, I don't mind dabbling into something else that mite last a while, if there is something else that I could use.
