Hi Coli. I am having exactly the same problem in trying to find a suitable coaster box (want clear PVC) that will fit 4 coasters and will be ok for Royal Mail large letter. I have found these though which are very nice but are maybe a little too expensive: http://www.tinyboxcompany.co.uk/p/89...m-wpba2wh.html

Hi UK Printed Mugs. Just looked at the boxes, they look great but a little too expensive. Thanks anyway!

Yes I agrees. I will continue to look as well and so perhaps if either of us find something cheaper then post it here. Olly

How thick are the coasters, including feet/backing, i.e. how deep does the box need to be?

I found some great card boxes on eBay a couple of years back, they fit 4 x 90mm coasters and a slotted holder (at a squeeze!) If I remember to dig one out I'll upload pics, perhaps not what you're after though? I just use them for presentation as they're gift boxes, not really for mailing.

So four of them stacked up would be 60mm, so plus the box itself and packaging, you're going to be over the large letter rate (25mm) - in fact, even two stacked will put you over the large letter rate.
Also, the 10cm Tiny Box Co (linked to above) square box is only 17mm deep, so only big enough for one coaster.
However, this one is 45mm deep and you may get away with more in, and only 93mm width, so a better fit for 90mm coasters
